Why do we choose to lose weight?
- the desire to be healthy

however…
carbs: carbohydrates itself will not lead to weight gain. it is a main source of energy in our body and it is essential as a primary fuel source for your brain’s high energy demands
starving yourself or skipping meals: very unhealthy for your body and unlikely to maintain a long term weight loss. you lack energy from food and this may lead to you choosing to eat high-fat foods as a snack to fill yourself up. when your diet or eating habit is unscheduled, it is easy for you to eat more or less every meal, causing your body to rebound, leading to a further weight gain
slimming pills: contain many preservatives that harm your body, people miss out and are unaware of the amount of harm it can bring to your body. There are also unlicensed weight loss products that hide their harmful ingredients used without listing on the ingredient labels. A common example of the content of such supplements are seizure medicines, which bring side effects such as exhaustion, headache and even hair loss.

How can we lose weight the right way?
- exercise regularly
it is proven that in order to live a healthy lifestyle, at least a 15 minute exercise is needed everyday, some people also choose to do an hour of exercise a day to speed up the weight loss process. Running is proven to be the most effective and efficient way to lose weight as running burns more calories than lifting weights, and right when you stop running, your body also continues to burn, which further melts the fat content in your body.
- eat regular meals
Eating regular meals can help provide energy for your body during activities. You also snack on unhealthy food less without always feeling hungry by skipping meals.
- eat large amount of fruits and vegetables
fruits and vegetables are low in calories and fat and high in fiber. by including more in your diet, it can help relieve constipation while also providing minerals and vitamins to your body.
- cut down on alcohol
a glass of wine actually has the same amount of calories as a normal chocolate bar. Drinking too much may also lead to weight gain. Therefore, it is best for us to drink less alcohol in order to lose weight faster.

It might be shocking, but snacks can also be delicious using healthy ingredients. Nowadays, more and more people are aiming for a healthier lifestyle. There are a lot of new websites and posts made by famous bloggers posted on different platforms online sharing recipes about delicious meals made with healthy ingredients. With that, there are also tons of recipes for snacks, such as bananas with peanut butter or baked oats. There are also cookies or cakes made at a much lower calorie rate which allows you to enjoy eating healthy without changing everything you eat.
What can we gain by losing weight the right way?

Exercising releases endorphins in our body that makes us happy and satisfied with life. With efficient weight loss results, we also feel proud of our body and healthy lifestyle.
- lower risks of diseases
By exercising and eating less unhealthy snacks, our body gets more used to a healthy lifestyle, reducing risks of heart diseases, cancer and diabetes.
